About Ann-Marie
Ann-Marie has decades of experience and expertise serving in the roles of leader, Agile coach, mentor, facilitator, trainer, creative change catalyst, developer, project manager, program manager, Scrum Master, and community grower. She empowers leaders to transform and elevates you to your next level of greatness. She empowers teams to be adaptive, effective and resilient in co-creating and delivering value early and often by growing synergistic partnerships and applying Agile approaches to achieve business outcomes. She partners with her clients to identify their dreams and aspirations and harness methods for unlocking their potential.
In the unique, personal coaching experience with Ann-Marie, she brings forth her inner leader, the Warrior Goddess. The Warrior is her masculine, physical energy representing the strong, courageous part of her, and taking risks in service of her clients. The Goddess is her feminine, spiritual energy where she connects with her clients with vulnerability, empathy, compassion and humility, respecting each person as a sacred being. Ann-Marie brings to her practice connection, compassion and courage. She comes with grounded confidence and a centered presence, and adapts her range to meet you where you are at and to go where needed for you to gain your breakthrough transformation results.
In serving as an Agile Coach, Ann-Marie saw organizational agility is constrained by leadership agility. Agile coaches enable teams to improve their practices and empower leaders to evolve things in the system that reinforces unwanted behaviours and outcomes; and while improving team practices and the system are valuable, little to nothing had been done to empower leaders to develop. This results in “having old wine in new bottles”. Ann-Marie sensed that many leaders have not evolved in one’s mindset and heart-set nor developed the consciousness, competencies and practices to be 21st century leaders. She recognized that transformation begins with herself. She worked on growing her leadership consciousness and competencies, and continues to deepen in her transformation journey.
Ann-Marie is an avid learner, passionate in empowering leaders to transform and evolve to be centered, courageous, compassionate, congruent, connected and conscious 21st century leaders, and to fully live their lives authentically. She looks forward to partnering with leaders looking to take steps forward in transforming their careers and life.
She is on a journey of living her life’s purpose, shifting from a life of success to a life of success aligned with significance, and making a meaningful difference in the world to share enduring love. She is a yogi, with a contagious laugh, who enjoys dancing and drumming with community drumming circles.
She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with The International Coaching Federation and obtained her Bachelor of Mathematics Degree from The University of Waterloo specializing in Computer Science with Information Systems and Business Administration. She served as a director with The Royal Medieval Faire and with the Waterloo Co-operative Residence Incorporated. She volunteers as a tutor with The Literacy Group of Waterloo Region and serves as an organizer for Agile Coach Camp Canada and Play4Agile North America.
